Annaghdown Summer Solstice 10K

The 2nd annual Annaghdown summer solstice 10k will take place next Saturday, June 21st at 5pm (which is only natural since that is the day of the summer solstice). Annaghdown is located 10mls north of Galway city on the west coast of Ireland. Irish Running Tours expect a large turnout at the event. Stay tuned for pics and video following the race.

    It is going to be great if the last one was anything to go by. Someone should run in antlers and a toga, though!

    pity about the rain, great race though, loved the swim afterwards, I love running in Ireland!

    Another amazingly well managed event, huh? I’ve been hearing all about it this morning from a bunch of the runners (despite the rain.) Good goin.
